MRI update.......

Greetings all, It's Deb here, of course, the gal with the medical update!!! Quick update on the appt. we had today with the oncologist and the outcome of the MRI Bill took on Monday.

So quickly, the MRI did show a change in the original "spot" they saw 3 months ago. They call this "enhancements" and a bunch of other medical terms that we really don't get. In any event, the Dr. will not say definitively what the enhanced spot and changes mean, because he doesn't know from just looking at the scans.......and basically because Bill isn't showing any type of symptoms that are worrisome. The report says this "could be" a recurrence, but no one really knows - again - because the scan shows changes, BUT there is a lack of symptoms, it doesn't add up to one firm conclusion. We are having the scans reviewed by the original surgeon and will talk about next steps once he gives us his opinion. A little scary, but we're keeping up the strong positive attitude that whatever this brings, we're ready!!

Because Bill is doing so well, we're not sweating this right now - one day at a time!
